Email campaigns

Send your campaigns from the platform that already hosts you

Write it, schedule it, and send it through your own provider — with consent checked against every recipient before a single message goes out, and every skip counted so you can see why.

What it is

Most hosts leave email marketing to somebody else, so you end up with a separate product, a separate bill and a separate list that never quite matches your customers. We built it into the platform instead.

You compose the campaign, choose who it goes to, and schedule it. It sends through your own provider account — you connect it once and the key is stored in our secret vault — so you keep your sending reputation and your own per-message rate, and we do not add a margin to something you are already paying for.

What you get

The parts of campaign sending that are genuinely hard, done properly.

Consent checked before the send

Every recipient is audited against unsubscribe state, marketing consent, channel preference and account standing before a message goes. Where consent cannot be established, we do not send.

Every skip counted

Unsubscribed, no marketing consent, channel muted, no destination, not in good standing — each one is a number on the campaign, so a small send is something you can explain rather than something you worry about.

Marketing and service notices kept apart

A service notice about your invoice is not a marketing email and must not be governed by unsubscribe rules. The two are separate kinds throughout, enforced rather than labelled.

Saved templates

Name, subject, body and channels saved and reused, and archived when you stop using them.

Schedule, pause, cancel mid-flight

A campaign is a durable workflow, not a queued job. You can pause a send that is running, and cancel one, and it stops.

Delivery and open tracking

Delivered, opened and failed are recorded per recipient from your provider's own webhooks.

How it works

  1. Connect your sending account

Your provider, your API key. It is stored in our secret vault, not in a database column, and you set your sending domain and reply-to.

  2. Write it, or start from a template

Subject and body, with the message kind set — news and offers, or a service notice. The kind decides which consent rules apply.

  3. Schedule it and watch it go

Send now or later. While it runs you can pause or cancel, and you see delivered, opened, failed and every category of skip as it happens.

What it costs

Nothing extra. There is no add-on to buy, no per-message charge from us and no contact-count tier — it is part of the platform, on every plan.

You pay your own email provider for what you send, at whatever rate you have with them. We think that is the honest arrangement: we did not build the sending infrastructure, so we should not be charging you a margin on it.

What it does not do yet

We would rather tell you than have you find out. There is no segment builder — you send to your contacts, and choosing an arbitrary slice of them with rules is not something the product does today. And there is no click tracking: delivery, opens and failures are recorded, clicks are not.

If either of those is central to how you work, a dedicated email marketing platform is the right tool and we will not pretend otherwise. What this is very good at is sending a well-governed campaign to the people who have agreed to hear from you, without a second subscription.

Questions

Is there an extra charge?

No. It is included on every plan. You pay your own email provider for the messages themselves.

Whose sending reputation is used?

Yours. It sends through your provider account and your sending domain, so deliverability is yours to build and yours to keep.

Can I build a segment?

Not yet. You send to your contacts. The plumbing for segments exists in the engine and the builder does not, and we would rather say so than imply it.

Do you track clicks?

No. Delivery, opens and failures are tracked; clicks on individual links inside a campaign are not counted.

What happens to somebody who unsubscribed?

They are skipped, and the skip is counted on the campaign so you can see it happened. Consent is checked at send time against the recipient, not at list-build time — so somebody who unsubscribed after you scheduled the campaign is still excluded.

Can I send service notices this way?

Yes, and they are a distinct kind rather than a marketing email with a different subject. Unsubscribe rules do not suppress a genuine service notice, which is what keeps invoice and outage mail reaching people.
