Anonymous. ⛔ Written for the public site's SITEMAP builder, which has to emit 58 localized sitemaps and until 2026-08-22 emitted the English article slug in all of them — so `/de/wissensdatenbank/why-a-listing-hides-…` and `/de/wissensdatenbank/warum-ein-inserat-…` both answered `200`, each claiming to be canonical, at 57 locales × every article. ⛔ ONE request for all locales, never one per locale: a per-locale read gave `/sitemaps/so.xml` an 18.64 s TTFB and made every edge purge a 58-way herd against the engine (#3059, #3111, #3154). ⭐ English is included explicitly in `locales` so a caller never rewrites the fallback.
