What it is
Authority scores are how the industry compares domains quickly. They are not a Google metric and nobody should pretend otherwise, but they are the best available shorthand for whether a domain has earned genuine links from places that themselves earned links.
What makes a score useful is history. A domain sitting at the same score for two years and a domain that has climbed to it in six months look identical in a single reading and are completely different propositions. We keep the readings so you can see which one you are looking at.

What this is not

Questions
Is this Google's PageRank?
No. Google has not published PageRank for domains since 2016. This is a third-party estimate built from a web-wide link crawl, and it is useful for comparison rather than as a prediction of ranking.
Can I check a domain before I buy it?
Yes, and it is one of the best uses of this. Add the domain, take a reading, and look at what the link profile behind the score actually is.
Why two scores instead of one?
Because volume and quality are different questions. A domain can have enormous citation and poor trust, which usually means a lot of links from places that do not matter.
Do I have to host with you to buy this?
No. Domain scoring works on any domain, wherever it is hosted. You need a Zinn Digital® account, which is free to create, and you add the domain you want watched.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. It is billed monthly with no minimum term, and cancelling stops the next charge. The history we have already collected for you stays readable for as long as your account is open.
What happens if my account is suspended or unpaid?
Checks stop while the account is not in good standing, and start again by themselves once it is — you do not have to ask. Everything already collected stays visible in the meantime, with its real age shown, so you are never looking at stale data that is pretending to be current.
