Page Builder Sandwich Pro builds contact, quote, signup and multi-step forms from blocks, and decides what happens to every message: an email, a saved copy on your site, a webhook, and a mailing list.

Build a form

1. In the block editor or Sandwich Studio, add the Form block. It starts with name, email and

message fields.

2. Add fields with the Form field block: text, email, phone, web address, number, date,

message, drop-down, choose one, choose several, consent tick box, file upload and hidden value.

3. Select a field to set its label, whether it is required, its choices, its width (full or

half) and, for a file upload, the accepted file types and the largest size (up to 50 MB; 5 MB unless you change it).

4. For a multi-step form, put fields inside Form step blocks: the visitor sees one step at

a time with Back and Next, and each step is checked before the next one opens.

Show a field only when another one matches

Open a field's Show this field only if… panel, pick another field and a rule (is, is not, contains, is filled in, is empty). A hidden field is never required and is never sent.

What happens after sending

Select the Form block and open After sending:

• Email the submission to one or more addresses (the site administrator when empty). The

visitor's email address is set as the reply-to address.

• Save submissions on this site: they are listed under **Page Builder Sandwich → Form

submissions**, with a CSV export. Uploaded files are kept in a private folder that cannot be opened from the web; editors and administrators download them from the submission.

• Send to a webhook: the fields are posted as JSON to an https address you choose.
• Add to a mailing list: Mailchimp, Brevo, MailerLite, Kit or ActiveCampaign (see

"Connect a mailing-list service").

Each action runs on its own: if one fails, the others still run, and the saved submission shows which ones worked.

Spam protection, built in

Every form is protected on the server, with nothing for your visitors to solve: a hidden field that only robots fill in, a signed token that proves the form came from your page, a minimum of 3 seconds to fill it in, and at most 10 messages from one address per form every 10 minutes. A robot is answered as if it had succeeded, so it learns nothing, and nothing it sends is stored or forwarded. A page served from a cache for a long time still works: the form fetches a fresh token and sends again.

Connect a mailing-list service

1. Open Page Builder Sandwich → Marketing → Mailing-list connections.
2. Paste the service's API key (for ActiveCampaign, also your API URL, for example

https://youraccount.api-us1.com) and choose Check and save. The key is checked with the service first, stored encrypted on your site, and never shown again.

3. In the Form block's After sending panel, switch on Add to a mailing list and choose the

service and the list (for Kit, the form).

The visitor is added with the form's first email field and, if there is one, a field named name. An address that is already on the list is updated, never added twice.
