Get paid for sending people somewhere genuinely good

The Zinn Digital® affiliate programme is built into the platform, not bolted on with a plugin. Your links are tracked server-side, commissions are rules rather than a single flat rate, and earnings settle through the same payments and wallet engine that runs the rest of the business — with a dashboard showing clicks, signups, conversions and payout history end to end.

  • 100,000+PBN sites hosted
  • 42Footprint-Free tiers, from $6/mo
  • 58languages the platform sells in
  • 7 dayscard-free trial you can send people to

How the programme works

Five steps, all handled by the engine. You promote, we track, attribute, calculate and pay.

Your links and codes

An affiliate account issues unique referral links and referral codes tied to your organisation. Use the link on a site, a newsletter or a video description; use the code where a link will not fit. Both resolve to the same attribution record.

Tracking on click

A referral click sets a first-party cookie and is recorded server-side through the platform's attribution layer. The cookie window is a configurable setting on the programme, so a visitor who leaves and returns later is still credited to you.

Signup and conversion

When a referred visitor signs up, the attribution is carried across from the marketing site to the app and stored against their organisation as first-touch and last-touch. Conversion is then reported for the lifetime of that customer, not just the first order.

Commission calculation

Commission is applied by rule against the converting order or subscription — percentage or fixed, one-off or recurring, and scoped to the product line or plan that was actually bought.

Payout

Earnings accrue to your affiliate balance, then pay out on the programme's schedule via the platform's payment provider and wallet, with a statement covering every line in the period.

Attribution that survives the real web

Most affiliate tracking breaks in exactly the places that matter. Browser-side pixels get blocked, cookies get cleared between the ad click and the purchase, and the customer journey crosses two different domains — the marketing site where they read about the product, and the app where they actually sign up. Programmes that only measure the browser quietly lose conversions, and affiliates carry the loss.

Zinn Digital® captures the journey at both ends. UTM parameters, ad click IDs, referrer and landing page are captured on the marketing site into a first-party cookie, then carried across to the dashboard on signup via a shared first-party cookie on the apex domain. Conversion events are fired from the engine itself rather than from the visitor's browser, so an ad blocker or a cleared cookie does not silently erase a referral you earned.

Attribution is then stored on the referred organisation as both first-touch and last-touch, which is what makes lifetime and recurring commission possible at all. The record does not expire when the session does.

Commissions are rules, not one flat rate

A single global percentage suits the platform's convenience, not the affiliate's business. Commission structures here are configurable along several dimensions at once.

  • Percentage or fixed amount — a share of the order value, or a set amount per conversion, whichever fits the offer.
  • One-off or recurring — earn on the first payment only, or keep earning for as long as the referred subscription keeps renewing.
  • Per product line and per plan — Footprint-Free Hosting, mainstream WordPress hosting and the rest can each carry their own rate, because they carry different margins.
  • Tiered by volume — structures can step up as your referred volume grows, so scale is rewarded rather than flat-rated.
  • Holdback and clawback — commission on a refunded or charged-back order is reversed. Money that did not stay with the business does not stay in your balance either.
  • All amounts are held in integer minor units with an explicit currency, so multi-currency earnings never drift through rounding.

Payouts, statements and compliance

Getting paid is the part affiliate programmes are usually worst at, so it runs on the platform's real money plumbing rather than a spreadsheet.

Paid through the payment engine

Payouts run through the platform's payment provider payout path and wallet balance — the same audited engine that handles customer billing, refunds and marketplace settlements. No parallel, unreconciled ledger.

Scheduled and on method

The programme defines a payout schedule and the available payout methods, and your balance settles against it automatically once earnings clear their holdback period.

Statements you can hand to an accountant

Every payout comes with a statement itemising the conversions behind it, including reversals, so the number you are paid can always be traced back to the orders that produced it.

KYC for larger affiliates

Above a defined earnings threshold, identity verification is required before payout. It is a normal condition of paying real money to real people, and it protects legitimate affiliates from the fraud that gets programmes shut down.

The affiliate dashboard

Everything in one place, in your language and your currency, on the same design system as the rest of the platform.

Clicks and signups

See traffic by link and code, and how much of it turns into an account. The gap between the two is the number that tells you which placement is actually working.

Conversions and earnings

Track which referred organisations converted, on which plan, and what each one has earned you — including recurring commission still accruing on live subscriptions.

Payout history

Every payout, its statement, its status and the lines behind it, retained rather than emailed once and lost.

Asset library

The approved creative assets for the programme, alongside the affiliate terms, so you are never guessing what you are allowed to publish.

What you are actually promoting

An affiliate programme is only as good as the product behind it. This is a bespoke hosting platform operated by Zinn Digital®, not a reseller account with a logo on it.

  • Footprint-Free Hosting with 106 auto-managed footprints, footprint-aware CDN account rotation and static-HTML delivery — running across more than 100,000 PBN sites in every niche.
  • 42 Footprint-Free tiers, from PBN 5 at $6/mo to PBN 2000 at $2,000/mo, so there is a plan for a first network and a plan for a serious operation.
  • A hosted MCP server that connects any MCP-capable AI tool directly to a customer's hosting — a genuine differentiator to lead with rather than a feature-list filler.
  • Free, repo-grade WordPress plugins shipped with every site: Zinn Cache for LiteSpeed and Redis caching, Zinn Footprint for fingerprint removal.
  • A card-free 7-day trial on Footprint-Free Hosting with up to 5 sites, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee and free migrations — so the offer you send people to has almost no friction.
  • The whole platform sells in 58 languages with region-aware currency, so your audience does not have to be English-speaking for your links to convert.

Referring as a customer, and fair play

There are two routes. One is for publishers and partners; one is for customers who simply like the product.

Customer-to-customer referral

Existing customers can refer others and both sides receive credit to their wallet — a give-and-get reward that comes off future invoices rather than arriving as a payout. It runs on the same wallet balance used for top-ups, credits and refunds.

Affiliate accounts

For publishers, agencies, SEO operators and anyone driving referral volume at scale, an affiliate account gives you the tracked links, the commission structure, the asset library and the payout path described above.

Anti-abuse checks

Self-referral, duplicate identities and fraudulent signups are checked against the platform's fraud rules and payment signals, the same ones that protect the marketplaces. Referrals flagged as self-dealing do not pay.

Terms you can read

Programme terms sit on the affiliate account itself, alongside the commission structure that applies to you, so the deal you are working to is always visible rather than buried in an email from signup day.

FAQ

What commission rate do you pay?

There is no single global rate — commission is set as a rule and can differ by product line, by plan and by your referred volume, and can be one-off or recurring. Your applicable structure is shown on your affiliate account. If you are driving meaningful volume, talk to us and we will discuss the structure rather than point you at a fixed number.

How long does the referral cookie last?

The cookie window is a configurable programme setting rather than a fixed period baked into the code. What matters more is that a referral is not only a browser cookie: attribution is captured server-side and stored against the referred organisation as first-touch and last-touch, so it is not lost the moment a browser clears its storage.

Do I keep earning if the customer stays for years?

That depends on the commission rule applied to your account. Recurring commission is fully supported — attribution is stored on the organisation for lifetime reporting, which is what makes it possible — so a recurring structure keeps paying for as long as the referred subscription keeps renewing.

What happens if a customer I referred refunds or charges back?

The commission is reversed. Rules carry holdback and clawback, so earnings sit through a holding period before payout and are deducted if the underlying payment is refunded or charged back. This is why payouts run on a schedule rather than instantly on conversion.

Do I have to be a Zinn Digital® customer to be an affiliate?

No. An affiliate account can be attached to a user or an organisation independently of whether you host with us. That said, hosting a site or two yourself makes for far better content — and the card-free 7-day trial on Footprint-Free Hosting costs you nothing to try.

Can I refer people without becoming a formal affiliate?

Yes. Existing customers have the customer-to-customer referral route, where both you and the person you refer receive credit to your wallet, applied against future invoices. It is simpler than an affiliate account and needs no payout setup or identity verification.

How do I get paid, and do I need to verify my identity?

Payouts run through the platform's payment provider and wallet on the programme's schedule, with an itemised statement each period. Identity verification is required above a defined earnings threshold before payout can be released — a standard condition of paying out at scale, and one that protects legitimate affiliates from the fraud that closes programmes down.

What creative assets do I get?

Approved marketing assets live in the asset library on your affiliate dashboard, alongside the programme terms, so you always know what is current and what you are permitted to publish. If you need something specific for a placement, ask us and we will look at producing it.
