Zinn® Chat Pro

Zinn® Chat Pro — the live chat your whole team answers, on three of your own websites, with your name on it and not ours.

The same chat box as the free plugin, with the limits taken off. As many colleagues answering at once as you like instead of one. Every conversation kept for ever instead of thirty days. Your own name on the window instead of ours. Saved replies for the things you type twenty times a week, a transfer button for the things a colleague should take, business hours so it says you are closed rather than pretending you are not, and five thousand AI answers a month instead of a hundred. It adds a settings screen the free plugin does not have, for deciding exactly which pages the chat appears on — only the support section, or everywhere except the checkout, or hidden from anyone signed in. One licence key covers three websites, wherever you host them, and you can move a site off the licence and on to another whenever you like.

Idi ti o fi ṣe pataki

Live chat is priced per person answering almost everywhere else, which is a tax on a small team doing the sensible thing. Tawk.to is free until you want your own branding and then it is twenty-nine dollars a month; Crisp is twenty-five; Tidio is twenty-nine; LiveChat is twenty dollars per agent per month, so three colleagues is sixty. Zinn® Chat Pro is thirty-nine dollars a month for as many colleagues as you like, across three websites, branding removed. It is also still the lightest chat on the page: about eight kilobytes, no request at all until a visitor opens it, and nothing loaded whatsoever until you switch it on. And if you host a site with us, you do not pay for it at all — it is included, and your licence key is already waiting on the Licences page of your dashboard.

Kini ninu re

Everyone answers, and nobody is charged for it

Per-agent pricing makes a small team choose between answering quickly and paying for a seat nobody uses on a quiet Tuesday. There are no seats here. Put the whole team in the inbox, hand a conversation to whoever knows the answer, and pay the same thirty-nine dollars.

Your name on the chat window, not ours

The free edition carries a small “Powered by Zinn® Chat” line. Pro removes it and puts your team name and your colour there instead, which is the difference between a chat that looks like part of your site and one that looks like something you bolted on.

Exactly which pages it appears on

A settings screen, not a code snippet: show the chat only on the pages you choose, or everywhere except them, by page, by content type, or hidden from people who are already signed in. The usual reasons are a checkout that should not be interrupted and a members’ area that does not need it.

Transcripts kept for ever

Thirty days is long enough to forget a conversation and not long enough to find it again. Pro keeps every transcript indefinitely, searchable, with the page the visitor was reading and the language they wrote in beside each one — which is what makes a chat archive worth anything six months later.

Three sites on one key, moved whenever you like

One licence covers three websites, anywhere — your own server, somebody else’s hosting, a client’s. A staging or local copy never uses one of the three. Release a site from your dashboard when you retire it and the seat is free again straight away; ten-site licences are there for an agency.

WordPress 6.6 or later and PHP 8.2 or later, on any host. A Zinn Digital® account for the chat inbox, the widget key from your dashboard, and a Zinn® Chat Pro licence key. No other plugin, no jQuery and no theme support are required. If you already run the free Zinn® Chat, install Pro and deactivate the free one — your settings are kept.

Download the zip from the Licences page of your Zinn® dashboard — the same page your licence key is on — and install it under Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload. Open Settings → Zinn® Chat, paste your widget key, paste your licence key underneath it, and tick Enable. Updates then arrive in wp-admin like any other plugin, for as long as the licence is live. If you host with us, Pro is included and the key is already there.

1.2.0 — first Pro release: unlimited operators, transcripts kept for ever, branding removed, saved replies, transfers and business hours, 5,000 AI answers a month, and the page-targeting screen. Built from the same source as the free edition, so the two can never drift apart.
