Details
A **pure read** - it opens no transport, writes nothing and charges nothing. The order screen calls it on every change so the customer sees the real total before committing, rather than a machine price that grows at checkout once the options are applied. ⛔ The machine's own figure comes from its **plan**, never from the add-on catalogue. Two sources for one price is how a configurator and a checkout come to disagree. Requires `sites.view`.
